Could anything really have topped Jeremy Scott's debut for Moschino's AW14 McDonald's inspired collection? Well apparently something can and something did. The Italian fashion house really outdid itself introducing the 'institution' (quote Scott) that is Barbie.
"Barbie basically is the full package - plus she loves an evening dress which is very important for Moschino."
We saw every Barbie outfit under the sun brought to life this fashion week in Milan. Beach Barbie, Roller Disco Barbie, Boarding a Plane Barbie and even Work Out Barbie.
It was an explosion of pink, rainbow glamour to everyones delight and I for one love it, because let's be honest, if Barbie was your childhood like mine, this is every girl's dream come true.
The collection wasn't just a dedication to pink. It played on an array of colours from yellow to blue to black. You name it, it was used. The diversity of bright popping colours kept the show lively and exciting, not that a Barbie runway show would have any trouble with that!

Moschino's SS15 collection's finale brought a number of 80s inspired ball gowns to the catwalk, all fit for well, Barbie. Featuring shimmering, pearlised ruffles alongside plenty of pink and black polka dots. It truly was a dream come true.
