AW14

I'm getting a little too excited for Autumn and Winter now. My fur coat is literally staring at me begging me to wear it and I'm having to hold out simply because the weather doesn't agree. I never thought I'd be one to just wish the summer away but considering my wardrobe was never quite fully prepared I need the Autumn to allow me to finally be able to dress with some sense. That's the trouble with England, it's pretty much wet and cold for the majority of the time that our wardrobes are catered to adhere. So when the sun finally does decide to make an appearance.. We're stuck.

So, whilst stocking up on more oversized knits to keep me snug (I love a baggy jumper, I practically live in them), I was looking back at the AW14 runway shows for inspiration on what purchases to make. This being my most favourite of tasks as I got to watch again with awe the incredible Chanel Shopping Centre and lust after McQueen's collection. You can tell how much I love it as I've already dedicated a post to it previously.

Chanel, Jonathan Saunders, Sacai, Alexander McQueen
There's just something so dreamy when it comes to Winter collections. This season has ensured no withhold on pastels, monochromes, glitter and fur, so I'm probably going to go crazy whilst shopping.

Marc Jacobs, Celine, Chanel
Share with my your thoughts, how you've been inspired and what you're going to be stocking up on for this coming Fall!

  1. I've seen Alexander McQueen's collection and think it is amazing, its very snow queen themed. Like you I'm excited for winter too but not at the same time because I'm not fully prepared.

I just did a similar post too

    1. McQueen's AW14 collection is honestly the most perfect thing ever, so in love! I know what you mean, I want to make the most of the summer before it's all over but then again I wouldn't mind cozying up in a warm jumper.

      Love your post!

  2. Great selection, McQueen is my fav. They all look amazing, but I still better like summer than winter. :)
